In pursuit of this, our on-going annual training policy ensures all personnel have the skills and qualifications to carry out their duties safely all well as all their statutory requirements. We are committed to full NVQ CSCS CPCS cards for our workforce. In addition, we have our own internal standards of competency and provide extra training to address new working practices and legislation.

Formwork and concreting operatives have the industry – recognised Working at Height training on Alsipercha Fall Arrest System, Leading Edge Restraint System and Working at Height Rescues. Alongside this, Combisafe installation training, Abrasive Wheels and PASMA are delivered to these operatives.

Ground workers will also complete Abrasive Wheels, Cable Avoidance (CAT) & Genny training, Confined Space and HAV awareness.

Contracts and Project Managers are CITB SMSTS Senior Construction Manager Level 7 NVQ qualified, Construction site manager Level 6, NVQ Site Construction Supervisor NVQ Level 3. This level of management will also complete Temporary Works Coordinator training to ensure they plan and manage Temporary Works to the British standard BS 5975.

Site Management & Foremen have regular Health and Safety Awareness training. They will also complete CITB SSSTS to ensure they are competent to supervise the works. Three-day First Aid training is also compulsory. This level of management will hold Temporary Works Supervisors training to ensure they are competent to supervise the construction of Temporary Works.
Plant operators are CITB CPCS accredited for the categories of plant they will operate.
